VCDS (VAG-COM Diagnostic System) is diagnostic software for Volkswagen‑Group vehicles produced by Ross‑Tech that communicates with car ECUs via Ross‑Tech USB/HEX interfaces. The “VCDS USB Library” refers to the low‑level USB driver/library component used by VCDS to talk to Ross‑Tech USB interfaces (legacy direct USB interfaces like KII‑USB, HEX‑CAN series, etc.).
