This study employed a qualitative analysis of popular romantic narratives, including films, television shows, and novels. A total of 20 romantic storylines were selected for analysis, representing a range of genres, including romantic comedy, drama, and romance. Each narrative was coded using the FLV index, with a focus on the Friendship, Love, and Vulnerability dimensions.
This study demonstrates the utility of the FLV index for analyzing romantic storylines and relationship dynamics.
